About Me
Welcome to Scratch Crafted Meals!
Hi, I'm Victoria (Tori Lynn), the chef, baker, recipe developer, and founder of Scratch Crafted Meals.
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's this: I believe some of life's most meaningful moments happen around the table.
Whether it's a quiet Sunday dinner with my family, a beautifully plated private chef experience, a warm loaf of sourdough fresh from the oven, or cookies shared with neighbors, food has always been my favorite way to care for the people I love.
Scratch Crafted Meals was born from that belief.
What started as a place to document recipes for my own family has grown into a business I never could have imagined. Today, I wear many hats, a personal chef serving clients throughout Central Ohio, the owner of Scratch Crafted Bakery, a cooking instructor, and a recipe creator, but every part of my work is rooted in the same purpose: helping people slow down, gather together, and create memories through homemade food.
As my business has grown, so has my passion for learning. I've completed professional culinary training through Scoolinary in artisan bread baking, sourdough, laminated pastries, plated desserts, creative entremets, and modern plating techniques, earning certifications endorsed by both the American Culinary Federation and Worldchefs. Every class has strengthened not only my technical skills but also my appreciation for the artistry behind cooking from scratch.
Here on Scratch Crafted Meals, you'll find recipes inspired by both my home kitchen and my professional experience. Some are simple weeknight dinners my own family asks for again and again. Others are elevated dishes inspired by my work as a personal chef, adapted so they're approachable for home cooks.
No matter the recipe, my goal is always the same: to help you feel confident in the kitchen and create food worth sharing.
When I'm not testing recipes, you'll usually find me baking with flour dusted across the counter, planning my next private dinner, teaching a cooking class, or chasing after my two kids, who happily serve as some of my toughest (and most honest!) taste testers.
